Aimag - Mongolia is divided administratively into 21 aimags (provinces) and the Capital city Ulaanbaatar
Soum - Aimags are divided into soums
Bagh - soums are divided into baghs, the least administrative unit
Ger - A Mongolian round traditional dwelling, made of felt and wood.
Dzud - A Mongolian climatic phenomenon - drought in summer followed by heavy snow in winter cause serious losses of livestock

The Mongolian Parliament /Plenary session/ discussed the Amendment law draft to the Minerals law, Land law and the Law on taxation of personal income derived from private business and Government regulation draft on extraction operation of minerals from small-scale mines, on the 11th of June 2010.

At the beginning of the discussion,  Mr. D.Zorigt, the Minister of MMRE, presented briefly the concept of the law drafts. Following the introduction the MPs started asking their concerned questions and expressing their opinions regarding the issue. The discussion lasted three hours.    

At the end of the session 33 MPs out of 44 voted for further Parliament discussion and the Amendment law formally included into the agenda of Parliament schedule.  According to the Parliament session procedure law, the Law draft is to be sent to the Economical standing committee of the Parliament for further development and prepare for the plenary discussion.
